“There is but one possible way in which human elements, innumerably diverse by nature, can love one another:  it is by knowing themselves all to be centered upon a single “super centre” common to all, to which they can only attain, each at the extreme of himself, through their unity.”

Pierre Teilhard De Chardin

Last week, I shared my perspective about the challenge between staying true to our own nature and finding a way towards positive collective behavior.

As I continue to focus on novel-writing this week, I’m keeping the blogs shorter this week, and adding a new feature — Writers of Destiny.

Thought you might enjoy quotes from great thinkers, artists and poets who have provided us clues on how to maintaining our individual uniqueness while we strive for unity.

Hope you are inspired by these great men and women from across different times, places, and cultures who have much to teach us about creating an enlightened destiny through their writings.

Perhaps, you are one of the inspirational voices for future generations!  Keep writing!

Hay, what’s the novel going to be about? I do hope the writers of today can figure some life lessons to teach the future readers 🙂 If nothing else at least we all learn from each other!

My novel is about two kids from the distant future who have to travel back in history to retrieve “time traps” that were set in Chicago in the first half of this century. The traps are set by a group of time terrorists called Disrupters. My goal is to do a series of novels, with each book focused on a different time trap. This first book is focused on finding the key of destiny. It’s a rather odd and wild premise, but hopefully has some kind of life lessons included for future readers. 🙂

Great quotations, Karen! My favorite will always be “Be the change you wish to see in others.” It’s good to remember this!
