Books

For the last four years, I’ve run a business called Sustaining Stories which teaches a nature and story-based approach to transformation.

I use my books with my clients so that we can expand and evolve rapidly in the next few years. I believe Life wants us to move towards our new growth with joy and a sense of adventure and my books attempt to share ways of growth that enliven our spirits.

The first book, Writing Your Destiny offers a series of ten steps of uplifting your personal life and business through a nature and story based approach to transformation.

My second book, The Seven Foundations of a Resilient Livelihood, teaches how to live well in work and play, and includes more suggestions based on my work in the sustainability field.

The principles in the book are fairly simple:

1. Contribute to Something Greater Than Yourself

2. Use Your Resources Wisely.

3. Strengthen Your Personal Connections

4. Use Technology to Slow Down and Accomplish More

5. It’s Not What You Earn, It’s What You Save (and this isn’t about money)

6. Value Real Wisdom Above the Appearance of Wisdom

7. Commit to Using Kindness and Respect to Resolving Conflicts

There are more Sustaining Story books in development that should be available through this site in 2013.

    • The two “journal books” on this page are what I have out so far that can be purchased. I’m very proud of what I’ve been able to share in both of those books.
This year as I’m writing my blog, I’m collecting material for 2 more journal books to come out this year and then probably a Sustaining Stories book to come out in 2013 that discusses the work that I’m doing this year.
You can click on the pictures of the books on this page to purchase either of them through Amazon if you wish.
In the next week or so, I’m also going to be adding a free pdf book. My intent is to offer many more tools between now and then the end of the year.
I like to think of all the subscribers to this blog as part of a community of writers, healers, entrepreneurs, alternative lifestyle champions, coaches and artists who are helping each other to serve the world in a bigger way. So, thank you for joining our eclectic community by subscribing to the blog!
