Twists and Turns on the Path

Twists and Turns through Appalachian Mountains

We have been through some twists and turns along our journey through Appalachian country.

The unexpected, unplanned detours have made our brief trip into an adventure.

We’re now staying in one spot for a few days to enjoy the Smoky Mountains before starting our journey back home.

We tend to collect little memories of our adventures, with national park passport stamps, magnets for our refrigerator, and of course photos.  For the most Zen of those among you, this might be unnecessary, but we like to look back at our adventures of years past.

Here are a few pictures from our trip so far:

Daily Contemplation for your Enchanted Journeys:

1. What twists and turns are transforming your life and writing into an adventure today?

2.  Are you doing anything to create reminders of these adventurous times?

  1. How ironic that this post came through at this moment…Susie and I were just discussing the odd twists and turns our lives have taken over the past several months…nice to be in step with at least one other soul in the universe. :)

    Be encouraged!

    1. We seem to live in a time full of twists and turns, but some of us have more of them than others. :) It’s great to have you and Susie on the winding road with me!
